Echo
Echo squad lost in a tight game 30-33 against a physical Birmingham City today. After winning the 3rd quarter by 5 to draw level going into the last it unfortunately slipped away from us. There were great interceptions throughout the court too and a lot of grit and determination by all especially Nell who played all 4 quarters as centre! Thanks to Faye, Izzy D, Sonja and Julie for all playing for us. Girlie went to a very deserving Nell!
Foxtrot
Foxtrot squad had a very close first game of the season, we unfortunately lost 29-31 but it was extremely close all throughout with some great shooting. Lovely interceptions from Faye deserving her girlie of the game. Big shout out to Izzy D for having to come off in the third quarter but was back on court for the fourth! Great effort from the team, good communication and gelled really well!
Golf
Golf squad had a brilliant start to the season winning 48-37 against Foxes 3. We had some beautiful play down the centre court, amazing interceptions in defence and shots flying in from all over the circle!! The new girls to Lyndon slotted in seamlessly and the whole team really gelled. Girlie of the game went to Sarah S
